Someday. Somehow. We'll be okay.

I’m in the mood where I want to murder every single person I see.

Mayflys are a winged insect that have a short lifespan. They mate in such a way that all of them mature in the exact same time. The will die out soon, but for the time being Wisconsin looks like something straight out of a horror movie.

Take note: this is how to properly disarm someone. Always go to the outside of the arm, not the inside.

ah yes I have been doing it wrong the whole time it seems cowering in fear was not the first step

Just a reminder:the natural diet of these birds is BONES. Not just bone marrow; actual bone shards. They pick up huge freaking bones from carcasses and drop them onto rocks until they get spiky pieces and then they swallow them. Their stomach acid dissolves bone.

look me in the eye and tell me that’s not a fucking dragon

And they aren’t naturally red like that. That’s self-applied makeup. They find the reddest earth they can to work into their feathers as a status symbol.

And they don’t scavenge other parts of carcases, just the bones. 85-90% of their diet is exclusively bone. Hence why it’s only a myth that these birds would just pick up whole lambs and carry them off. It’s not true, but in German they’re still called Lämmergeier as a result.

Hey, is there a term for keeping a child isolated from the world and telling them nobody will love them except you over and over, with only isolation in between that? What does that do to the child?

That reminds me of feral children, you can look up the case of genie for more information. But I imagine they will grow up to believe it, and will be afraid of the entire world until that faithful day (if it happens) where someone rescues them and shows them the world isn’t half as bad. It’ll probably take some time.

Isn’t that the plot of Tangled?

My point has been validated

Like I always say, the real horror in life isn’t monsters, demons or ghosts but us, humans and what we are capable of

Here’s the original video

This is legit terrifying.

1947 Cheval Blanc ($135,125)

The 1947 Cheval Blanc has been unofficially crowned as the greatest wine of the last 100 years. While it’s not quite the most expensive wine ever made, it is regarded as possibly the best tasting Bordeaux. The good taste is ironic considering that 1947 was…
